Qualify for WSOP with Mobile App

Last year's WSOP paid out $210 million over the course of 68 events, capped off by a $60.3 million prize pool in the Main Event. The 2016 WSOP should be even bigger since the schedule has been fine-tuned to draw more players. And you can be part of this poker extravaganza for cheap through WSOP qualifiers. Furthermore, you can play in these qualifiers and win a 2016 WSOP prize package from anywhere via your smartphone or tablet. That said, let's look at three mobile poker sites where you can win a prize package through your mobile device.

888poker

888 is giving out dozens of WSOP prize packages over the next few weeks. Five $12,500 prize packages to the Main Event will be given away along with 44 packages for the $3,000 Crazy Eights event. Each of these packages includes round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations at the Rio. All you have to do to try for these prize packages is make an 888poker account through your mobile device. Once you do this, you'll be able to spin the Vegas Wheel for a prize package. You get additional spins for every $10 deposit (or more) that you make here.

Party Poker

Whether you're in New Jersey or the international market, Party Poker is giving you a chance to win WSOP prize packages through your mobile device. Qualifying is done through steps here, and the Step 1 Qualifier costs $12.50 to enter. You can either win your way up from here or enter Step 2 ($115 buy-in) or Step 3 ($1,060 buy-in) directly. The Step 3 Qualifier is held every Sunday, and 1 player out of every 10 will receive $10,000 cash for their 2016 Main Event buy-in. The downside is that you don't also get airfare and hotel accommodations; but if you can live with this, then you should be just fine with these qualifiers.

Americas Cardroom

The list of online poker sites running WSOP satellites is really thin right now. PokerStars, Bovada, Bodog, Unibet and other poker rooms have opted not to offer 2016 WSOP qualifiers. This brings us to Americas Cardroom, which is giving out 50 prize packages. They also have satellites beginning at $7.70, which is cheaper than Party Poker. The only catch is that Americas Cardroom doesn't currently have a mobile app. So why are they on this list? Based on CEO Phil Nagy's timeline, the mobile app should be here any week now. If it comes sooner rather than later, Americas Cardroom will give you another mobile option to play for WSOP packages this summer.
