The Everest Poker European Cup (EPEC) is set to make some poker players exceptionally happy this May; not only are there pretty glass trophy to be won, but there’s also €100,000 in hard cold cash, which lets face it makes for the best kind of tournament ever. Everest Poker players are invited to participate in the European Cup by winning a seat in their county’s team. There will be 15 nations in total taking part and each nation will have a 15 person team playing in the Everest Poker European Cup 2010.
Qualifying for the Everest Poker European Cup is free: A birthright, if you like, of every European poker player out there. You can take part in EPEC qualifiers that are running this month at Everest Poker, and winners of an EPEC Live Finale Package will benefit from everything that they need for the event, €2,000 of needs in total!
Remember that each country has only 15 slots on its team; in order to fill one of these seats you can qualify through weekly Direct Entry poker tournaments for which you can enter through free daily satellites. There are daily satellites running every day; 6 for each country, and from each of these satellites the top 25 players will progress to that week’s Direct Entry Tournament.
The countries that will have teams playing in the EPEC 2010 are Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland. So, if you’re residing in one of these countries, it’s time to get a move on and get yourself onto your country’s team.
