Atlantic City will see the Borgata Poker Open from September 18th to 23rd this year and right now PartyPoker is giving away packages for the event worth $7,000 each. The entry to the WPT Borgata Poker Open Main Event alone is $3,500 which is of course covered in the prize package. In addition to the Main Event buy-in PartyPoker will also be including in the package $2,000 for spending, a week’s accommodation in a luxury Atlantic City Hotel, PartyPoker hospitality, and a $100 voucher that can be redeemed either in the hotel restaurant or spa! As for the Borgata Poker Open itself; last year 1,044 competitors fought it out for a part of a $2 million prize pool of which $750,000 was carried away by the tournament winner, Dwight Pilgrim.
Believe it or not; one of these packages could be yours through free poker tournaments! There are daily freeroll tournaments running at the online poker site from which the top 25 will qualify for a daily WPT Borgata Sub Qualifier. An alternative route to the free poker play tournaments is to buy into one of the daily WPT Borgata Sub Qualifiers for $1 or $5 + $1 depending on if you’re going for the re-buy or speed qualifiers. Both of these qualifiers lead into the WPT Borgata Satellite Qualifier which runs each day at 13:45 at the online poker site and has a direct buy-in of $37.50 + $2.50. From each Satellite Qualifier 1 in 10 players will go through to the Satellite which is held each Sunday at PartyPoker. The Satellite has a direct buy-in of $350 + $25 and 1 in 20 players will get one of those $7,000 WPT Borgata Poker Open prize packages.
