Oktoberfest is brilliant. Lots of Germans, lots of beer, lots of fun, and lots of packages to be won by members of the PartyPoker online poker community this month.
Oktoberfest 2011 will take place in Munich in October, of course, but with a whole lot more than beer to be enjoyed, PartyPoker has put together packages for members of their online poker community that consists of party, party, party all the way. The Oktoberfest PartyPoker packages include 2 nights in 5 star accommodation for the package winner and a guest, an opportunity to take part in a poker tournament and dinner at the Olympic Tower Restaurant, dinning and drinks in a Hippodrom Oktoberfest tent exclusive box, transportation over the weekend, $600 for spending, VIP area in the P1 night club, and various daytime activities.
As you can see the package that’s been put together by PartyPoker is non stop entertainment; and August represents non stop earning power. It’s in the month of August that the majority of the 16 Oktoberfest packages will be won, but that’s not all, because the online poker site is also giving away a whole bunch of Apple gadgets, as well as cash prizes at the same time.
Both the Apple gadgets and the Oktoberfest packages will be given away by the online poker site through VIP Oktoberfest Races. The first of these VIP Oktoberfest races will run from August 12th through till August 21st whilst the second will run from August 22nd through till August 31st. In order to take part you simply need to opt in and play at real money games earning PartyPoints. From each of the races the top 7 players will get an Oktoberfest VIP package, positions 8 to 25 will get $250 cash, and positions 26 to 75 will get $100. In addition, the top 75 finishers will get either an Apple iPad2 or an iPod Touch. It doesn’t end there though as members of the online poker community finishing in positions 76 to 400 will receive entry to a free poker play tournament to be held in September. From this free poker play tournament the final 2 packages will be awarded as will a further 28 Apple gadgets.
