It's rare that a truly original promotion comes about but PartyPoker seems to have done it. PartyPoker's Genius promotion gives all players the chance to be a big winner.
PartyPoker has done it again with a spanking new and original promotion idea. Ingeniously called The Genius, PartyPoker's new promotion will get underway on Monday 6th July and will run for 10 million hands; sounds interesting? This is how it works.
Beginning from 12:00 ET on Monday July 6th, PartyPoker will square the pot of every 50,000th hand that is played on their real money tables. If it's been a while since you had to think of math solutions, don't be put off; squaring a pot means very big wins! How do you get a part of these prizes that amount to anything from $100 up to $5,000? Simply play. Each 50,000th hand counts as a genius hand; should a hand hit on a table you're playing at, the standing pot will simply be multiplied by itself (squared) and that sum will be divided up between the players. Thus, if the pot is standing on $70, that $70 will be squared to make $4,900 and this will be shared out between the players playing that hand. What's even better is that there's a minimum amount that can be won, so even if the pot is very low, let's say $7, you will automatically get $100 shared equally between the players, as $100 is the lowest Genius Jackpot available!
As if that wasn't enough, in addition to the squaring of every 50,000th hand, every millionth hand will get $10,000 and the last millionth hand of the promotion will get an incredibly $100,000!
Now, that's what we call original!
