PartyPoker is about to start running satellites for the WPT Venice, so grab your passport, your gondola awaits!
The WPT Venice main event will be running from February 3rd to February 8th but the countdown has already begun at PartyPoker. The event will be hosted at the gorgeous Casino di Venezia, and from December 20th PartyPoker will be making sure that every week a member of their online poker community will be there to represent.
The packages being made available to the members of the PartyPoker online poker community are worth $7,000 which covers the $4,600 WPT Venice Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodation, $1,000 for spending, and of course PartyPoker perks and hospitality. Now that we’ve got your interest, it just gets better from here on in. The qualifying structure at PartyPoker gives players the opportunity to win one of these packages not just every week, but even through free poker play.
Starting from December 20th, 2010 there will be free poker play tournaments running every day at the online poker site, from which the top 50 players will go through to the WPT Venice Sub Qualifier Speed Re-buy. These daily tournaments lead into the WPT Venice Satellite Qualifier which are also held daily and they in turn lead in to the WPT Venice Satellite which will be held every Sunday at 15:20 ET. If of course you would like to buy into these tournaments you can do so for $5 + $1 or $1 for the WPT Venice Sub Qualifier tournaments, $37.50 + $2.50 for the WPT Venice Satellite Qualifier, or $350 + $25 for the WPT Venice Satellite. From each of the Sunday satellite tournaments 1 package is guaranteed and one in twenty players will win a package.
