The Aussie Millions may be miles away in distance, but it’s very close in time, so if you’ve not yet secured your seat you’ll want to check the PartyPoker qualifiers.

The Aussie Millions is only a month a way and if you’ve already got your seat sorted you’re probably already getting excited to play texas holdem for money in this huge international tournament. If however you haven’t yet got your name on a ticket and hope to do so through on line poker qualifiers, you should probably get a wriggle on and check out the PartyPoker qualifiers immediately. Aussie Millions will be running from January 22nd to 28th, whilst the qualifiers will be running at the on line poker giant, PartyPoker until January 8th.

PartyPoker is making it possible for as many people as possible to play texas holdem for money in the Aussie Millions through their weekly satellite structure! The Aussie Millions Satellite is held every Sunday at the on line poker site, awards one package for each 25 players, and has a direct buy-in of $640 + $40. The package is worth $16,000 which covers the main event buy-in, 8 nights’ accommodation, and $2,500 spending money. This package could be won from as little as $2, or even for free. There are daily Aussie Millions Freeroll tournaments that lead into daily sub qualifiers. The sub qualifiers run each day at PartyPoker for $8 and $2 respectively. These sub qualifiers lead into the Aussie Millions Satellite Qualifier which is held each Sunday at 13:35 ET with a direct buy-in of $68 + $6; from the satellite qualifier 1 in 10 players will go through to the main satellite tournament. Australian players are invited to take part in a similar qualifying structure, but with only $500 of spending money to reflect the shorter distance they will need to travel.

If you check out the pictures from last year’s Aussie Millions you may notice that the winner is emblazoned with the PartyPoker logo. His name is Tyron Krost, he’s from Sydney, and he qualified for the tournament through a PartyPoker qualifier. Oh and he walked away with AUD$2 Million!
