To play holdem for money is a great buzz, but to do it to prove consistent skill awards a whole new sense of satisfaction. Welcome to PartyPoker Tournament Leader Boards.
PartyPoker is putting all other on line poker sites to shame with their fantastic tournament leader boards. The site wants to give its members the opportunity to shine, and to earn some big cash prizes along the way. So if you play at the on line poker site’s tournament tables, you could be in the running for part of a $40,000 prize pool.
Not only is PartyPoker leaving other on line poker sites behind in terms of the cash prize available through their tournament leader boards, but also through the schedule of them. A lot of on line poker sites invite players to play holdem to earn points for a leaderboard, but it’s only a month long leaderboard, or a short term leader board. PartyPoker recognizes however that different players have different skills- some shine in a short intense period, whilst others prefer to show their worth over longer durations. As such, PartyPoker offers its members both weekly and monthly tournament leader boards both for SNG players and MTT players.
The weekly tournament leaderboards start on Monday at 00:00 ET and run to 23:59 ET on Sunday each week. The first place prize for each of leaderboards is $600 plus a secondary prize of a $1,000 TLB Freeroll entry. The leaderboards pay out to the top 50 players with positions 2 to 10 getting $200k Guaranteed Sunday entry tickets plus a $1,000 TLB Freeroll entry, whilst positions 11th to 50th get a $1,000 TLB Freeroll entry.
The monthly tournament leader board races run from the first day of each month to the last day of the month, and each of the leaderboards pays out to the top 100 players with the top prize for the SNG leaderboards being $2,500, and for the MTT leaderboards being $2,000.
Members of PartyPoker can easily take part in both of these leaderboard races as the points earned for a weekly race will also be counted towards a monthly race.
