The Baltic Festival is the newest addition to the impressive PokerStars collection of tours, and by all accounts looks set to be just as attractive, and just as successful as the rest.
The Baltic Festival is going to be held in the Swissotel Tallinn from October 28th to 31st. Tallinn is of course the capital of Estonia and one of the oldest and most beautiful capitals in the world. The Estonian doors are being well and truly flung open, for poker players of the world to unite and share some good old card playing. This latest PokerStars event will have a direct buy-in of €1,100 and it is expected that the final prize-pool will amass to several hundred thousand Euros.
A PokerStars Manger commented:
"We have hundreds of thousands of poker players in the Nordic countries, the Baltic States and Russia, but so far there have only been a few attractive live tournaments…Our ambition with this festival is to create the ultimate live poker experience similar to what players find at the most prestigious events in the world like the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas and the European Poker Tour's Grand Final in Monte Carlo, combining a luxurious venue with the best live poker in the Baltics."
PokerStars is running daily $22 satellites for the event with weekly $215 Finals being held on Saturdays at 20:00 CET. In addition to these satellites and weekly finals, there will also be $33 Re-buy second chance qualifiers held on Sundays. PokerStars packages will include the event by-in, accommodation, and some spending money.
