The EPT final in Monte Carlo will of course be attracting the best from both the European and North American poker fields, all ready to battle it out for the title and prize; however, for some it will be a time of education not just action.

Season 5 of the European Poker Tour has been phenomenal with a good mix of known and unknown talent, and the final is set to be quite a spectacular. Taking place directly prior to the Grand Finale however may be an event of more interest and indeed more use to many players – the PokerStars Poker Camp. The Poker Camp is an English language instruction seminar that will incorporate 2 days; April 26th and 27th. The first day will get off to an early start with breakfast and registration at 08.00 followed by Introduction and Goals at 09.00. In the course of the first day such topics will be covered as Online Play vs. Live Play, Early Stage Tournament Strategy, Middle Stage Tournament Strategy, Live Hand Analysis, and a Poker Camp Tournament which will have its final table on the second day of the Poker Camp. The second day will deal with The Mathematics of Poker, Final Table Tournament Strategy, Live Hand Analysis, and Small Bet.  The two days of instruction are aimed to help prepare players for the challenges of live tournament play, and instructors are likely to include Daniel Negreanu, Vanessa Rousso, Greg Raymer and Chris Moneymaker.

Packages for the PokerStars Poker Camp can be won thought the PokerStars website and will include camp instruction and the buy-in for the Camp Tournament, 3 night's accommodation, a gift bag and $1,000.
