PokerStars Tournaments - Step your way to EPT Warsaw and EPT Grand Final + Qualifiers structure
A new opportunity to qualify for the EPT has just been created by PokerStars Tournaments. It is called EPT Steps Sit & Go satellites and is the newest member of PokerStars elaborate family. All you have to do is enter one of the steps and play your way to the top where the winner is awarded either a seat at EPT Warsaw or the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. The winner also takes home the EPT entrance fee, a fancy hotel stay and $1,000 pocket change.
The best thing is that you only have to pay $7.50 or 500 Frequent Player Points to enter the lowest step and you get a chance at winning the whole EPT package. Remember, you can enter at any stage, it will just cost you more the higher the stage.
How to qualify for the big leagues:
Step 1 costs $7.50, 500 FPP or an EPT Step 1 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st and 2nd – a ticket to Step 2.
3rd – a second chance to play Step 1.
4th - $1.50.
Step 2 costs $27.00, 1,750 FPP, or an EPT Step 2 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st and 2nd – a ticket to Step 3.
3rd and 4th – a second chance to play Step 2.
5th – another shot starting back from Step 1.
Step 3 costs $82.00, 5,125 FPP, or an EPT Step 3 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st and 2nd – a ticket to Step 4.
3rd, 4th and 5th – a second chance to play Step 3.
Step 4 costs $215.00, 13,500 FPP, or an EPT Step 4 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st and 2nd – a ticket to Step 5.
3rd – a second chance to play Step 4.
4th and 5th – another shot starting back from Step 3.
6th – another shot starting back from Step 2.
Step 5 costs $700 or an EPT Step 5 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st and 2nd – a ticket to Step 6.

5th and 6th – another shot starting back from Step 4.
EPT Step 6 (10 player) costs $2,100 or an EPT Step 6 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st - $19,250 to enter the EPT Grand Final at Monte Carlo.
2nd - $750.
EPT Step 6 (9 player) costs $2,100 or an EPT Step 6 ticket to enter.
Prizes:
1st - $11, 350 to enter EPT Warsaw.
2nd and 3rd - $1,750.
4th and 5th - $1,000.
6th and 7th - $575.
