PokerStars has become synonymous with world class worldwide poker; the Italian Poker Tour is no exception and you can win your place for just a few dollars at PokerStars.
When you think of Italy you may think of pizza, cappuccino, or wonky towers, maybe even sports cars and old buildings, but what of world class poker? If poker isn’t already on your list of reasons to visit Italy, then you might want to reconsider your list as PokerStars could be helping you experience Italy first hand with packages for the IPT.
The Italian Poker Tour has been doing its rounds since June, visiting San Remo four times, Venice twice and Nova Gorica once. It’s next stop is a return to the beautiful city of San Remo for the fifth time where the eighth leg of this tour will be held at the san Remo Casino between February 25th and March 1st. The first San Remo event, held in June, saw PokerStars qualifier Stefano Puccilli walk away with the €120,000 first place prize – not a bad start for a tour!
Qualifying for the Italian Poker Tour is possible now at PokerStars with qualifiers being run from just $2.22 or 111 FPPs. The PokerStars steps tournaments are a great way to qualify for the ITP as you can choose exactly which level you want to buy into and then simply step your way up to the final qualifier.
Following the 5th San Remo event there is just one more event of the Italian Poker Tour before the Grand Final. The penultimate event will be held from March 22nd at the Perla Casino & Hotel in Nova Gorica, whilst the Grand Final will be held in San Remo from April 15th to 21st.
