The LAPT is going to be hitting Florianopolis, Brazil, in August, and you could be too with a package from PokerStars.
The Latin American Poker tour is off again, and from August 5th till 8th will be at the Costao do Santinho Resort in the beautiful city of Florianopolis in Brazil. The Main Event gets started on August 5th but the road to qualifying for it begins today. Packages from PokerStars are now being played for and each one is worth approximately $6,000 which covers the main event buy-in of $2,500, accommodation, and some money towards spending and expenses.
The online poker site PokerStars is really giving all members of their online poker community every imaginable opportunity to be taking part in this Latin American Poker Tour event. The poker site is running tens of satellites throughout the day with sometimes as many as 9 satellites or qualifiers running each hour. The satellites start from as low as $5.60 whilst there are also tournaments available with FPP entries. The free poker satellite tournaments as well as the lower buy-in tournaments lead into LAPT Florianopolis tournaments from which those packages will be awarded. The direct qualifiers for the LAPT Florianopolis have buy-ins of $215 and have 2 packages guaranteed; you can satellite into these tournaments through qualifiers with buy-ins ranging from $8 or 250 FPPs. Members of the PokerStars online poker community are also invited to take advantage of the Steps program at PokerStars which could see you in one of those LAPT qualifying tournaments having started with a Step 1 buy-in of just $7.50. Which ever way, there’s not a poker forum on the net that could accuse this poker site of not making the LAPT packages wildly available – they’re there for the taking; all you need to decide is if you’ll be doing the taking!
