Schemion, Quoss Heads-up in EPT Grand Final Super High Roller

The €50k Single-day Super High Roller was without a doubt one of the top attractions of the EPT's Monte Carlo Grand Final, at least for those with the means to actually play in it. Although the event was scheduled to be a one-day affair, at the end of the first day of action, two pros were left heads-up: Fabian Quoss and Ole Schemion.
Schemion's run in the Super High Roller was a rather phenomenal accomplishment, considering the fact that he had just won the €100k High Roller a day before. He had bested 61 entries in that one, taking home a prize of nearly €1.6 million. In this one, he may yet take down €933k, but at any rate, he's already guaranteed a €713k payday, as is his opponent, Quoss.
The tournament was a deep-stacked one: everyone started off 200k stacks and a re-entry would be allowed for those who busted, before the end of the 15th level was reached.

In the €50k Super High Roller, 70 entries were eventually registered, of which 62 were unique and the rest were rebuys. Thus, a prize-pool of €3.4 million resulted, which would go to the top 9 finishers. The min-cash in the event was set to €98.4k. Last year's winner of this same event was Mustapha Kanit, who just finished second to Schemion in the €100k High Roller. In the €50k though, Kanit failed to make the money, bowing out just before the final three tables were reached. The one who busted in 9th place, picking up the min-cash, was Steve O'Dwyer. Murad Akhundov was the one who bounced him.
