2015 WPT Montreal Main Event - Final Table Reached

Day 4 of the WPT's Montreal Main Event saw the field successfully play down to the final table of 6, in about 6 hours of action. 16 players returned at the beginning of the day, all of them looking to make the cut, but for 10 of them, the day would end in disappointment. The player who started the day with the largest stack was Trevor Delaney. His domination of the chip counts didn't last though: he dropped most of his ammo to the eventual chip leader, Brian Altman, and he then faded away in 13th place, quite a distance from the final table.
Altman on the other hand put his chips to good use, finishing the day with the largest stack, firmly entrenched at the top of the pops. He finished with 8.46 million chips.

Darryll Fish was the player who ended up in second place with 5.1 million chips. Rainer Kempe finished 3rd, with just 2.9 million, so it's safe to say that at least for the beginning of the final table action, Altman's top spot is relatively safe.
The other players who made the home stretch of the
poker tournament are AJ Gambino (with 1.62 million chips), Carter Swidler (1.39 million) and Jared Mahoney (with 1.26 million).
All those who are still standing are guaranteed a minimum payday of CAD$87.5 million.
Darren Elias was one of the players who failed to make the cut: he was bounced in 11th place, picking up $31.9k for his efforts. Giacomo Fundaro came pretty close to the final 6: he was eliminated in 9th place, with $43.4k to his name. Jason Mann faded away earlier, in 14th place, picking up $25.8k.
