Ladies live poker events coming up this fall

The fall season has plenty of live poker events female players can look forward to. First off, there’s a ladies only WSOP Circuit event coming up at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana, on Oct 26th. Such WSP circuit events are extremely attractive for the masses for several reasons. The buy-ins are relatively low (for the Indiana ladies event it’ll be $235 - $200 + $35 tourney fee) which means they are accessible for average players and will be fairly popular. The fact that they draw many participants makes it quite certain that the prize-pool will be attractively large too.

On top of the money won in the circuit event itself, the winner automatically earns a 2009 WSOP Main Event seat, worth more than $10,000.
Of course, ladies do not have to feel confined to the ladies only circuit events. Each WSOP Circuit stop consists of a number of events featuring a wide range of buy-ins.

Female poker players from the east coast will be able to match skills in the WPT’s World Poker Finals this weekend. The ladies event costs $260 to enter, as the massive Main Event will cost $9,700 to buy into. The games featured at the World Poker Finals will include Omaha, Stud and Holdem.

On the west coast, the Peppermint Hotel and Casino in Reno plays host to a ladies event to which the buy-in is a $120 one, well within reasonable limits for every average poker player. The Peppermint Casino’s Main Event is a $1,000+$60 affair with a huge prize-pool, a substantial first prize and a golden bracelet for the winner.

Las Vegas has its own ladies only event this weekend as well. The Caesars Palace Classic ladies’ event features a buy-in of $300+30. The Main Event costs $10,000 in buy-ins. Binion’s Poker Open is yet another opportunity for the ladies to go head to head this fall. The BPO Ladies event starts on Monday 27th and it will feature a $100+$35 buy-in. The BPO is a 21-vent series which has started on the 15th. The buy-ins featured are extremely reasonable and thus participation in the BPO events is soaring.
