The Warrior League is soon to get started at Winner Poker when poker warriors will battle for one of $100,000 worth of on line poker WSOP packages.
The first event of the Warrior League will start at 21:00 on May 7th at Winner Poker; it’s the first of 6 and for some players 7 tournaments making up a mini leaderboard promotion from which $100,000 worth of WSOP packages will be awarded to players at Winner Poker. In total players will need to play holdem in the first 6 events that will be held each Monday and Wednesday of the month at the on line poker site, and the top 50% of the players on the leaderboard at the end will gain entry to the Warrior Grand Final to be held on May 28th, in which Winner Poker will double the number of leaderboard points earned.
The top 50 ranking players in the Warrior League will receive prizes, with the top 15 being given the opportunity to play holdem in the WSOP. The top place prize is the hugely sought after Main and Side Event package, covering 11 nights, and worth a staggering $16,300. In total Winner Poker will be awarding over $100,000 worth of prizes to those top 50 Warrior League Players.
Before May 7th players can register for the Warrior League by registering for the WSOP Warrior Registration A $200 + $15 freezeout no play tournament. For those coming late to the idea there’s an option to register through the WSOP Warrior Registration B $180 + $13 Freezeout no play tournament from May 7th to 9th, but these players will not be able to take part in the first tournament of the Warrior League. In addition to the direct buy-in option, Winner Poker is running satellites in which players can play holdem for a place in the Warrior League for as little as $0.07 + $0.01.
