PokerSnowie’s Challenge: plug Up Those Leaks

Jumping into online poker these days is a much more difficult stunt to pull off properly than say 5-6 years ago. Indeed, the average level of skill at the tables these days is much higher than in the past, and without plugging up at least some of the obvious holes in his/her game, no rookie can really hope to make any sort of headway. The good news is though that benefiting from the services of a top-notch dedicated poker coach is no longer out of the financial reach of the average online poker player. While hiring a human coach is still something only the well-to-do can pull off, making use of PokerSnowie’s Challenge feature can be at least as useful.
PokerSnowie has been the world’s top Texas Holdem Game Theory Optimal AI for quite a while, and its capabilities have been made available for feedback and hand analysis in December, through a special Challenge feature.
In order to feed the player back a stream of super-useful information on regards to the mistakes he makes, the Challenge feature lets the player go head-to-head with the AI. There are two tables and up to 10 AI “players” available for this purpose. At the end of the match, the program delivers an instant assessment on the mistakes made by the player as well as recommendations on what to do to weed them out.

Following the launch of its Challenge feature, PokerSnowie played some 150k hands against players over a 1-week period, during which, had it been actual real money action, it would’ve amassed profits of more than €1 million.
In addition to the Challenge feature, the AI can help players better themselves in several other ways too. It offers situational analysis as well as hand history analysis.
