It was about a month ago that we were trumpeting Americas Cardroom’s re-launch of the Cage, one of their most popular promotions. The re-launch went so well apparently, that players simply demanded that a PLO version of it be added, and Americas Cardroom have made it happen. Indeed,
Texas Holdem players shouldn’t be the only ones to always have all the fun.
As you probably know, the Cage is all about mixing cash game and tournament elements together, in a never-before-seen format, which is rewarding and in the same time extremely exciting for those playing.
The CAGE PLO features a buy-in of $5k+$100, and it takes place on November 26, at 8 PM EST. The tournament – because that’s what it essentially is structure-wise – will play through 3 blind levels.
The first one is $10/$20, the second one is $25/$50 and the third one is $50/$100. Each and every one of the above said blind levels is 1hour 20 minutes long, which means that – unlike a tournament – the CAGE ends after its time is up.
Sign up to Americas Cardroom now and take advantage of the value offered by the CAGE PLO. There’s still more than enough time to qualify online.
Players are then paid out according to the number of chips they have in their possession when crossing the finish-line. Since chips have effective monetary value in the CAGE, a player holding 5k chips will get $5k.
Everyone starts out with 5k chip stacks, so throughout the game, a chip will always be worth exactly $1.
Buying into the tournament directly is possible at the site of course, but those who know how to get their hands on some real value will choose the satellites instead. Grabbing a seat in the CAGE can be done for as little as $1.65.
As far as the satellite schedule is concerned: there are so many of these cheap qualifiers running several times a day, that it doesn’t really make any sense to list them all here. Just log in and look for them in the tournament lobby, you’re bound to find one going at any time. The direct access qualifiers cost $300+$20.
What else is there to know about the CAGE? It lasts exactly 4 hours and the tables are 6-max ones. Winners can pick up their money directly in their bank accounts, through a free wire transfer.
Play at Americas Cardroom and make your way into the CAGE PLO through one of the above mentioned generous online qualifiers.
