The third edition of the High Five – because that’s what this will be – is scheduled to take place around Halloween, but according to the site, there will be nothing scary about it, with the possible exception of the fact that an incredible amount of money can be won through it. The total on the guarantees is a mind-boggling $420k. If the individual guarantees are mostly exceeded, there will of course be much more money in the middle.
The High Five is a tournament series consisting of 25 different events. Given that the Series kicks off on October 29 and that it wraps up on November 2, each day, there will be no fewer than 5 events running.

All the High Five tournaments come in on top of the regular tournament schedule of the site, which will thusly remain unperturbed. To say that the High Five buy-ins cover a wide range would be a huge understatement at this point: essentially, they start from $1.1 and they go up all the way to $550. The $550 buy-in is an exception rather than the rule though as it belongs to the High Roller of the Series.

The first event of the High Five kicks off on October 29, at 3:00 PM ET, and it features a $3.3 buy-in, offering a $1.5k guarantee.
Event #2 ups the stakes quite a bit: featuring a $16.5 buy-in, it offers a guarantee of $6k.
Event #3 goes even further: featuring a $215 buy-in (the same as PokerStars’ Sunday Million) it offers a $40k guarantee.
The above said High Roller takes place on Sunday, November 2, and it offers a 450k guarantee to go with its $550 buy-in.
The Main Event is what delivers the best value: for a $215 buy-in, players will go to war over a guaranteed prize-pool of $150k.
The last event of the High Five is the $7.50 HT PLO KO, which features a guarantee of $1.3k.
