Reality TV star Trishelle Cannatella, she of the “The Real World: Las Vegas” fame, isn’t done with her reality TV career. As a matter of fact, she is in the middle of filming a new show, called “Living the Life” which is focused on poker and which follows Canatella and one of her co-stars around the globe as they take part in various live
poker tournaments. Thus far, one can say the show has been a great idea for her, because besides the usual benefits that such shows offer their stars, she also gets the chance to further her poker career, to pad her stats a little and to make some money on the side.
Before the beginning of the show, Cannatella only had a final table presence in the 2010 WPT Celebrity Invitational, where she finished 3rd and collected $20k for her efforts. She took part in the EPT’s Barcelona stop a few weeks ago, but she was forced to move on empty-handed from there.
Now, at the 2012 WSOPE, she struck a little bit of gold in the Ladies Event. The tournament featured a buy-in of €500 and a first-place prize of €12.9k. While Trishelle played well indeed, entering the home stretch of the event with one of the largest stacks, she eventually ran out of steam and finished 5th. She picked up €2.99k for her efforts, which wasn’t a particularly impressive haul, but which was quite possibly milked to the max for the reality cameras.
Angelique Amar finished right in front of Cannatella in 4th place, picking up a €4k reward. The winner of the event was Russia’s Irina Batorevich, who bested Aurelie Quelain heads-up for the title. Quelain picked up €7.9k for her runner-up spot.
Cannatella isn’t done with the poker circuit yet though. She said she intended to play in the Ladies’ event of the EPT’s upcoming San Remo stop.
