To qualify for the Epic 9 and your chance at its $50k prize-pool, you'd better get over to UltimateBet as soon as possible.
Okay so it's not a $61 million prize-pool like the WSOP main event but it's certainly a write home about size of prize. UltimateBet, still celebrating their 10th year anniversary, are running their very own November 9 tournament to coincide with the WSOP final table, featuring none other than Phil Hellmuth and a prize-pool of $50k. As if the $50k prize-pool wasn't enough, the promotion will also carry two leaderboard competitions which will be handing over $2,000 in prizes in the lead up to the November 9 tournament.
One UltimateBet Epic 9 seat is already spoken for by Phil Hellmuth, but that means there are still 8 to play for and the way to do that is to start playing now! Seat 1 will be claimed by the winner of the Multi-Table Tournament Leaderboard in October. Seat 2 will be awarded to the winner in an Epic Nine Freeroll that can be qualified for by gaining Ultimate Player status in the RAI$E program. Seat 3 will go to the winner of a freeroll qualified for by reaching RAI$E program status Ultimate Contender. Seat 4 will be awarded in the same way but to the winner of a freeroll qualified for by those gaining RAI$E stats Ultimate Legend. Seats 5 and 6 will be won by winners of a freeroll qualified for by coming first in the Daily Ring Games STATUS Points Race. Finally Seats 7 and 8 will go to the winners of Freerolls awarded to the top places in the Daily SnG Tournament Leaderboards.
