UltimateBet aims to “spread the wealth” (which makes them a socialist poker room I suppose), and therefore, this is how the Bad Beat Jackpot is distributed among the concerned parties. 25% of it is withheld to seed the next Jackpot and 10% goes to the poker room for administration fees. The rest of it is divided among the players like so: half goes to the loser, 25% goes to the winner of the hand, and all players who have been dealt into the hand get $1,000. The remaining money is distributed between all players who have suffered a bad beat at the limit and game-type concerned.

In order to qualify for the UltimateBet Bad beat Jackpot, you need to use both your hole-cards in the losing hand. The winner of the hand needs to use both his pocket cards too. The hand needs to go to showdown. At least 4 players need to be dealt into the hand in which the Bad Beat occurs in order to validate it.

No collusion among the bad beat table participants will be tolerated.
