The qualifiers for the Irish Open 2011 will be coming to an end this month at William Hill Poker, so get a move on; there’s no time to lose.
The Irish Open holds the prestigious title of being Europe’s oldest No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament, making it the grandfather of European poker in much the same way as the WSOP is for America. The event was won last year by James Mitchell; the 20 year old walked away with €600,000. This year it could be you, but with William Hill qualifiers only running for a couple more weeks, there’s no time to lose.
William Hill Poker is giving its members the opportunity to win packages through regular Super Satellites as well as the Mega Satellites. The packages on offer to the members of the online poker community include the main event buy-in, accommodation, and money towards flights. The Mega Satellite is to be held on April 3rd, it has a direct buy-in of €300 + €20, and 30 packages will be awarded from it. The Super Satellites can be found on Sundays at 19.30 with a $250 direct buy-in. There are however daily qualifiers running for the super satellites giving all members of the online poker community the opportunity to qualify for these direct entry tournaments for nothing more than a few cents.
The satellites are only running up till March 21st, so it’s worth getting yourself to the Poker Lobby today and checking under the Land Based tab for when the next qualifier is running that you can register for.
