A stout advocate of poker room-player communication, Betsson has made a few changes to its tournament schedule based on the suggestions of its players.

The lack of a weekly guaranteed tournament featuring a generous prize-pool has long been one of the shortcomings of Betsson Poker. As a result of their players’ suggestions, Betsson have decided to launch the Big Deal Championchip.
The Big Deal Championchip is a weekly GTD, which takes place on every Sunday and features a buy-in of $190+$10. Online qualifiers will be available for the event all through the week.

The Grand Series of Poker capitalizes on the success of the first GSOP edition which took place in November 2008.
 In 2009, the GSOP will return no fewer than 3 times, once in the spring once in the summer and once in the winter.
The Grand Tournament will be the Main Event of each of these GSOPs. Qualifying online will be possible for the GT too.
