The €50k Super High Roller of the
European Poker Tour's Monaco Grand Final saw 66 buy-ins go into the middle. Given the relatively small number of participants, the event only took a day to wrap up. The prize-pool was a €3.2 million one and the eventual winner, Mustafa Kanit, walked away with a €936.5k prize. Representing Italy, Kanit defeated Canada's Mike Watson heads-up for the title and the top prize. Watson was rewarded lavishly for his efforts too: he took home €672.3k, which -even subtracting the buy-in - was a more than generous haul for him. Considering the size of the buy-in, it came as no surprise that the majority of participants in the event were "name" professionals.
Third place went to Germany's Martin Finger, who took home €437k for his efforts.

Germans turned in a rather solid performance in the Super High Roller. Not only did Finger finish 3rd, the 4th and 5th place finishers were German as well: Fedor Holz finished 4th for a €329.8k haul, while Fabian Quoss ended up in 5th, picking up €256.1k for his efforts.
Only 9 players ended up taking home any money. With 10 players remaining at the tables, the money as well as the final table bubble was nigh. The unlucky double-bubble-boy was none other than Vladimir Troyanovskiy. Scott Seiver was the first player to head to the rail with money to pick up: his 9th place was worth some €92.8k. Ivan Luca of Argentina followed him to the rail in 8th place. His share of the prize-pool was €121.7k.
Mark Teltscher and Andrei Streltsou were the other two players to finish in the money, taking home €156.9k and €198.5k respectively.
