No More Withdrawal Fees for PartyPoker Players

Withdrawal fees have always been a problem with online poker players and it's safe to say no one ever liked this "necessary" evil. It appears though that the evil fees are no longer necessary at PartyPoker: the site has decided to remove withdrawal fees from almost all the withdrawal methods they support, and yes, that includes VISA, MasterCard and bank transfers. While there are still a few methods which carry some fees, PartyPoker have made it known that they intend to weed out those remaining issues as well. The no fee policy has been implemented on withdrawals starting August 1.
The steps were taken as part of PartyPoker's Poker for the People campaign, which is meant to establish constant dialog between the online poker room and its players. Indeed, from this dialog, the conclusions drawn were that players hated the withdrawal fees and that they had several suggestions to touch up PartyPoker's loyalty system.

According to PartyPoker's Director of Games, Golan Shaked, actually listening to players has become the central strategy of the operator. Besides the withdrawal fees, various issues concerning the site's loyalty system have been addressed as well: the cash for points scheme has been revived and the whole leveling system has been overhauled, making it easier for recreational players to make progress through the ranks.
According to Shaked, this is not the end of the reform-line for PartyPoker: the site keeps looking for ways to improve its product based on player feedback, and as far as the handful of payment processors still charging premium for their services are concerned, PartyPoker is still bent on eliminating their fees as well. The bottom line: PartyPoker has become much friendlier towards the recreational crowd through these changes.
