"Major" Overhaul of Full Tilt Poker's Ring Games

Full Tilt Poker have decided to make a major move in regards to their ring games, an offering which has essentially been the same structure-wise for years now. The overhaul is apparently aimed at helping players find the most active tables, but according to some, it is in fact meant to improve the cash game liquidity of the site, doing away with some of the less popular stakes. It is indeed difficult to believe that Full Tilt Poker may have cash game liquidity issues, but there's always room for improvement and that's what's apparently attempted here. In line with the new policy, a number of games will be removed from the site's offer: Adrenaline Rush games, hailed as the fastest cash games ever, will disappear come the end of April. They will be followed by cap and deep-stack heads-up NL Holdem games and PL Holdem heads-up and 6-max games. Full-ring FL Holdem games will fade away as well, as will shallow-stack full-ring NL Holdem ones. Irish Poker, HORSE, HA and 7-game will go extinct at the site as well.
Certain stakes of Omaha Rush Poker games will have to go too.
Sign up to Full Tilt Poker now and enjoy unparalleled cash game action. The site is - after all - the top destination in the world for such games.

While the move will indeed impact game variety at the site in a rather radical way, proper liquidity is much more important that keeping a massive - and idle - game selection around.
In addition to the above mentioned games, a number of others, like 6 Card Omaha, 8-Game and 10-game 6-max tables among others, will move to a 5-max format.
Apparently, a significant number of high stakes games have been removed as well, so now the highest stakes at the site are the $250/$500 ones.
Sign up to Full Tilt now and give their new cash game structure a try. It may all have indeed ended up much more beginner-friendly.
