2013 WSOP – Day 2 of Event #50 in the Books

The pattern of various players who had played well in certain events last year returning to do better in the same/another event this year, continued in event #50 of the 2013 WSOP, a $2.5k 10-Game mix event, which successfully played down to its final 20 on Day 2. Scott Abrams played in the Main Event in 2012 and he did extremely well indeed: he ended up in 12th place, just shy of the first page of the poker magazines and online poker news-portals everywhere. This year, he shot back into prominence in Event #50, finishing its second day with the largest stack. Around 150 players returned to the tables of the $2.5k 100-Game Mix aiming to have their Day 3 tickets punched.
Obviously, the majority of the players failed to achieve that objective. During the first two hours of action, the attrition rate was extremely high. By the dinner break, only 44 players were still standing. As soon as the action resumed, a couple of other players headed to the rail. One of these players turned out to be the official bubble-boy of the poker tournament.

Howard Smith, who had started the day with the largest stack – met the end of his tournament life in 39th place, becoming one of the first players to walk away with something to show for their efforts.
He was followed to the rail by a slew of notables: Dan O’Brien, Freddy Deeb, Marcel Luske and Trai Dang were all eliminated during this stage of the tournament, together with Gavin Smith, Kenna James, Shawn Buchanan and Rep Porter. Porter was bounced in 23rd place. The last player to hit the rail on Day 2 was a truly notorious one indeed: Scotty Nguyen, winner of the 1998 Big Dance was the one to leave last.

And you never gave us the specifics on your wnining trades, Kelvin. Does that mean that they were losers, also?Gads, you are dense. Besides your poor reading comprehension and spelling abilities, your illogic is appalling. Additionally, your homoerotic fixation is disgusting. First, you project your fascination with touching yourself onto me, then you want to mention your short. Fag. Not there's anything wrong with your gaytardedness, but damn, you don't have to advertise it amongst real men. So
