2013 WSOP – Jeff Madsen Wins Event #35

In 2006, Jeff Madsen burst onto the poker scene becoming the youngest ever poker player to win a WSOP bracelet, and then another and then logging yet another deep run to make it worth his while. Following his stellar WSOP debut though, Madsen never really managed to climb back onto the top, although he has registered no fewer than 25 WSOP cashes since. Well, today, his confidence was probably restored: he struck gold again, winning the $3k PLO event of the 2013 WSOP, taking home the title and the $384.4k top prize.

The last day of the poker tournament saw 19 players return to its tables, the survivors of an initial starting field of 640 players. When the action kicked off, Madsen already had the largest stack, so it’s safe to say he started his bracelet run from pole position. As the action progressed towards the official final table, notables began dropping left and right. It was during this stage of the event that Christian Harder met the end of his tournament life. He fell in 18th place. He was followed to the rail by Jarred Solomon in 17th and Mike Sexton in 16th. Ashton Griffin bit the dust well outside of the final table too.
All this while, Madsen sprinted towards the finish line quite unfazed by all the drama surrounding him. Scott Clements was a bracelet winner who made the final table. He got taken out in 5th place though by Douglas Corning, who would then proceed to make it all the way to the heads-up stage of the event.
The beginning of the heads-up bout saw the two players start off relatively equal footings, but Madsen took control on the very first hand and he kept pushing the envelope till the final elimination. Corning’s share of the prize-pool was $237.3k.

Go to a bike shop and ask them what size you need, and try a new bike of the right size out in the parking lot. I would guess 56 or 58 cm road bike. You don't have to buy that bike, you are just loiokng. Check lots of bike shops, try out one from each store. All good bikes have 700c (road or single speed road) or 26 (mountain bikes) tires. Be sure to get a bike with a strong rear wheel, as you probably will hit lots of potholes. I got a nice 20 speed bike with quality components, but found they skimped on
