2013 WSOP – Jesse Martin Wins Event #43

Event #43 of the 2013 WSOP, the $10k NL 2-7 Draw Lowball one, wrapped up today, playing down to its winner. The player who walked away with the top prize and the 43rd bracelet awarded by this year’s Series, was Jesse Martin, who bested none other than David Baker heads-up. The winner’s share of the prize-pool was $253.5k, while the runner-up took home $156.6k for his efforts.
The beginning of the final day of the poker tournament saw Layne Flack return with the largest stack. During the early action however, the lead changed hands several times.
John Hennigan was one player who failed to get anything going during the early action and indeed, he became the first victim of the day after about an hour of back and forth.
Konstantin Puchkov was the one responsible for his elimination.

6-handed action lasted for quite a while as the short-stacks were all successful in staving off elimination. Quite surprisingly, the first player to bite the dust from the final 6 was start of the day chip leader Layne Flack. Flack’s elimination broke the ice: Jon Turner hit the rail in 5th place, sent to the sidelines by Puchkov. David Baker swung into action next, taking out Jeffrey Lisandro in 4th place. Despite Puchkov and Baker’s moves, the one holding the chip lead at the start of the heads-up stage was Jesse Martin and he took full advantage of it too. His first victim was Puchkov, disposed of shortly after the dinner break, and with that, the heads-up stage of the event was set.
The home dash didn’t last long and it wasn’t a spectacular heads-up match either: it only took Martin 9 hands to send his opponent to the rail, clinching the title. Only Martin and Baker finished with 6-figure prizes.
Full Tilt Poker’s 2013 WSOP online qualifiers offer players the chance to secure their Las Vegas tickets for small change.

Well as much as I hate to admit it I am with Kevin on this one. No records for a coplue of days looks shifty as hell in this situation. This trading blog used to be a little educational but now with a two day gap and all the emotion from Boogster I just dont know. Boogster, life is too short for you to be lashing out at so called haters. You broke your rules againt and then you take out your anger on the people that tell you about it.Boogster save yourself the money now and get a real job before you gamble
