2013 WSOP Schedule Revealed

It’s never too early to start making plans for the
WSOP, and this year, players will be able to start their preparations early indeed: on Thursday, Caesars Interactive Entertainment has made public the schedule of the 2013 World Series of Poker. The poker festival will kick off on May 29 at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino.
The changes are obvious from the get go: a new event has been introduced to pimp up the opening festivities: the Millionaire Maker. This
poker tournament will feature a buy-in of $1.5k and it will offer the winner a guaranteed $1 million. The Millionaire Maker kicks off on June 1, and it will feature a single re-buy NL Holdem structure.
A word of caution to those who fancy entering the event: its payout structure will be modified in order to allow the winner to take home $1 million.
The Series will feature 62 bracelet-crowned events, but there will be live qualifiers running as well.
The poker players’ $50k Championship event will be back. Massively successful in the past, the organizers saw obviously no need to change the tournament in any shape or form. This event will take place between June 26 and June 29 and it will see the world’s best players belly up to its tables again.
The Ladies only event will feature a quirky and – for some – quite welcome twist: men who want to take part in the event will have to buy in for $10k, while women will only have to play $1k.
No fewer than 3 of the events introduced last year will be back in 2013: the Mix Max
NL Holdem event, the Ante NL Holdem one and the four-handed NL Holdem event.
Instead of the Big One for One Drop, there will be a Little One for One Drop this year.
