2015 Aussie Millions Schedule Announced

The Aussie Millions represent the first major live
tournament series of the year, and its organizers are always keen on publishing its schedule well ahead of time. This year, they’ve already made it clear how the January 2015 edition of the Aussie Millions would unfold. There will be a total of 21 events, kicking off on Wednesday, January 14 and wrapping up on Monday, February 2.
The highlight of the Series will obviously be the Main Event once again: as always, it’ll be among the last events of the Series and it will take place between January 25 and February 1. Although nothing certain is known about the prize-pool at this stage, the winner is expected to take home around AUD$ 1.6 million.

Although the Main Event is indeed still the heart and the soul of the Series, in recent years, a number of other Aussie Millions events have emerged as major draws for the high stakes, professional crowd, and they will all be back in 2015 too. These events are the $25k Challenge, the $100k Challenge and the biggest of the high rollers, the $250k Challenge.
The scene of the action will once again be the Crown Casino in Melbourne, a venue grown into one of the top spots of the live global poker circuit over the years. According to the Crown Casino’s Director of Poker, James Preston, the Aussie Millions is now one of the top majors and it has cemented its place in the poker calendar by attracting some of the best-known and most generously bankrolled players, year after year.
Besides all the player-favorite events, the Aussie Millions’ partnership with the APPT will apparently return in 2015 as well.
