We always say that it’s never too early to start preparing for the upcoming edition of the WSOP, and this year too, we fully stand by that statement. Online qualifiers – which offer some of the best ways into the biggest poker festival of the year – are already available at some of the poker rooms, and now the actual schedule of the 2015 Series has been made public as well. The 46th edition of the World Series of Poker kicks off on May 27, and it wraps up on July 14. The venue of the
2015 WSOP will be the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino yet again, and again, the highlight of the Series will be the $10k Main Event.
Even though the complete schedule is yet to be announced, the exact dates of several of the biggest and most popular events have indeed been made public. The first day 1 flight of the Main Event for instance, will kick off on July 5. For 10 days, the field will whittle down, until the final table - also known as the November Nine - is set on July 14.

As far as the actual structure of the Main Event is concerned: it’ll be the same as last year, in the sense that the winner will be guaranteed a $10 million prize. The measure is doubtlessly aimed at counteracting the ever decreasing prize-pools of the Main Event, which have dropped off somewhat from Jamie Gold’s $12 million 2006 record.
The Monster Stack will apparently be back as well, together with the Millionaire Maker. The One Drop High Roller is part of the schedule yet again too, together with the Little One for One Drop.
