2015 WSOP -Nick Petrangelo Wins event #4

The 4th event of the 2015 WSOP went into the books a few hours ago and besides the fact that it has managed to award its own piece of jewelry, it can now boast another accomplishment: it continued poker pro Nick Petrangelo's hot 2015 streak, adding some $201.8k to his profits for this year, thus taking his 2015 total over the $1 million mark. To crown his wildly profitable 2015 run, Petrangelo made his first ever final table in event #4 of this year's Series.
The $3k
NL Holdem Shootout saw some 308 players belly up to its tables at its start, and Petrangelo survived each and every one of these players.
He said he had had a good feeling about his live game when he came into the tournament, and wherever skill turned out to be an insufficient decider, Lady Luck promptly intervened on his behalf.

Petrangelo has been a profitable player for quite a while now. Even before the beginning of the year, he had amassed some $400k in winnings, a haul that would be blown out of the water by his 2015 run. For some reason, luck stuck firmly by his side for all this while, and that is admittedly true for his WSOP bracelet win: he said he was particularly lucky during the heads-up stage, at the end of which he managed to dispose of Jason Les.
Les is a heads-up online poker specialist, so it is safe to assume that heads-up opponents don't come any tougher than him. The final table was Les' first one as well, so the stakes were high for him too, but he was just absolutely card-dead during the final stretch.
