2015 WSOPE Main Event - Final Table Reached

Poker pro Kevin MacPhee was the player with the largest stack at the beginning of Day 4 of the WSOPE's Main Event and indeed, he retained that position at the end of the day too, after he made the final table, together with a handful of other survivors. Day 4 saw 21 players return to the tables, all looking to make the final stretch of the event. MacPhee, a seasoned veteran, knew exactly what sort of an advantage his large stack lent him and he took full advantage of it too. To say that he thrived would probably be a major understatement: he managed to increase his stack 5-fold, thus putting together a true monster-stack for his final table run. He will enjoy a 2-1 chip advantage over second-place man Andrew Lichtenberger and knowing how he can exploit such situations, it is safe to say at this point that he is the favorite to grab the bracelet.
MacPhee finished with more than 5 million chips, while Lichtenberger ended up with some 2.1 million.

The only other player whose stack climbed over the 1 million mark was JC Alvarado, who had 1,070,000 bagged. The other players who made the home stretch of the
poker tournament are David Lopez, Kilian Kramer and Felix Bleiker. The latter will be the official short-stack come the final day of action, with just 215k chips.
Scores of name players bit the dust on Day 4 of the event too. Ola Amundsgard was the first victim, followed to the rail by players like Dimitar Danchev and Dzmitry Urbanovich - one of the early chip leaders.
