The Irish Poker Open is a showcase of European and world poker; to celebrate it 888 Poker could be sending you to take part with a generous package worth $7,200.
The packages that 888 Poker is making available to the members of its online poker community for the 2011 Irish Poker Open is worth over $7k and covers not just the Main Event buy-in, accommodation, and spending money, but also entrance to special 888 Poker VIP events and a special 888 Poker kit including a Sony Bloggie camera. The Irish Poker Open is running from April 22nd to April 25th, but the qualifying process for members of the online poker community starts right now.
If you go to the 888 Poker lobby you can register for the Irish Poker Open qualifiers; simply go to the Tournaments tab and then Live Events. Each Sunday at 20:00 there are Irish Poker Open 2011 Qualifiers with a direct buy-in of $288 + $12.
Alternatively you could qualify for a package through either free poker play or through Step tournaments. There are freeroll Step 1 tournaments running every day at the online poker site, as well as $2 + 20 c Step 1 Irish Open tournaments running around the clock. These lead into Irish Open Step 2 tournaments which can be bought into for $13 + $1, and these in turn lead to Irish Open Step 3 Tournaments. The Step 3 tournaments have a direct buy-in of $60 + $5 and run on Tuesdays and Fridays at 20:05 and on Sundays at 17:05. From the Step 3 tournaments 1 in 5 players will go through to the 888 Poker Sunday Irish Open Qualifier tournament.
Whether you get through free poker play tournaments or through buy-in qualifiers, the Irish Poker Open is going to be the only place to be this April, and with weekly opportunities to qualify, 888 Poker couldn’t make it any easier.
