WSOP packages come in all shapes and sizes but you’d hard pushed to find a bigger one than the packages being made available by 888 Poker right now.
The packages that online poker site 888 Poker are making available to its members are a whole lot more than a poker package; rather they are a WSOP Vacation Package. The online poker site is including in the $15,500 package the Main Event buy-in, $2,000 towards travel, 10 nights’ accommodation at the Palazzo Hotel including breakfast, $500 for spending money, and even special 888 Poker merchandise and entry to a VIP event to be held on July 7th. You might think that with such a prestigious package on offer there must be only one or two up for grabs – nothing could be further from the truth.
Every 2 weeks a member of the 888 Poker online poker community will win one of these packages. The bi-weekly World Series of Poker Qualifier is held every other Sunday at 20:05. The direct buy-in is $500 + $25, but you could be playing in it for much less than that. Every day there are WSOP Step 1 tournaments, and these tournaments count as virtual free poker play. The buy-ins are just $1 + 10c, and $5 + 50c respectively. The step 1 tournaments lead into the step 2 tournaments which themselves are only $23 + $2 for direct entry. The Step 2 tournaments are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at the online poker site at 20:55, and on Sunday at 13:05. 1 in 5 members of the online poker community will progress from this tournament to that Sunday World Series of Poker Qualifier.
