A New Anniversary Sunday Million to Offer $10 Million Guarantee

PokerStars are always keen on marking various milestone events in the history of the operation through massive promotions, many of which target their flagship weekly Multi-Table Tournament, the Sunday Million. Even as there are milestone-hand related promotions running right now, PokerStars have made an announcement regarding the upcoming 10-year anniversary edition of their Sunday Million, which is set for March 20 and which will apparently offer a $10 million guarantee. The first ever Sunday Million took place on March 5, 2006 and it drew a starting field of 5,893 players, who combined buy-ins for a prize-pool of $1.18 million. Obviously, those numbers will be obliterated by the said anniversary edition of the tournament, which will hand its eventual winner at least $1 million.
Needless to say, a resounding success from the get-go, the Sunday Million saw unprecedented growth, which will be put on display come March 20.
Sign up to PokerStars right now and use their online qualifiers to win a seat in the upcoming $10 million Sunday Million for peanuts!

The buy-in for the tournament will be the usual $215, so those looking to access the event directly, will be able to do so under the usual terms. Obviously, participation in the tournament will be massive, so massive in fact that the guarantee - as impressive as it is - may yet be beat. The opposition won't be loose either: from PokerStars' side alone, more than a dozen pros have already confirmed that they would play, and obviously, scores more unaffiliated professionals will join the fray as well, drawn in by the massive payouts.
Chris Moneymaker, Johnny Lodden and George Danzer will all play, together with Theo Jorgensen, who intends to win the tournament hands-down. According to Mickey Petersen, everyone in poker will be there at the tables.
Register a PokerStars account and make sure you do not miss this historic opportunity either. For $215, a direct buy-in is very reasonable too.
