The LSOP Millions Tournament isn’t’ going to be until next March, but this month 20 players at Americas Cardroom will be securing their packages to play in the event.
The LSOP Millions Tournament has a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million and a unique tournament structure that may change how all land based tournament will be played in the future. Rather than having a few different day 1s running in the location of the tournament as most poker tournaments do, players will be able to take part in a day 1in s place closer to home across South America. This means that you can play Texas holdem for money in a huge multi national tournament, but you can do so at limited risk. Only once you get through the first day will you need to travel to Panama where the event is being held. Americas Cardroom qualifiers will play directly in the Panama day 1 with their on line poker package.
Each of the LSOP Millions Tournament packages at Americas Cardroom enable winners to not only play Texas holdem for money in the event but also includes 6 nights’ accommodation, breakfast, credit in the hotel bar, a gift pack and $750 towards travel. All in all the package is worth $2,500 and there are twenty being given away by the on line poker site this month.
There will be 2 10-package satellites running at Americas Cardroom this month. Each has direct buy-in of $50 + $5 and will run at 6 pm on November 10th and November 24th.
