BetFred’s Social Leagues are the site’s take on
poker tournament leader board races. For the last few months, the Social Leagues have run and created several winners. The August Social Leagues have kicked off on August 1, but there are daily tournaments running which means it’s still not too late to rack up 7 deep finishes and to qualify for the Grand Final.
The Social Leagues promotion consists of two separate leagues: one for UK residents and one for the rest of the world. The buy-in for the UK Social League’s daily tournaments is £1+£100 added. Players from other countries will buy in for £1+£20 added. In the case of the UK league, the added money will total £2.9k while in the case of the Rest of the World league, the added money will total £500.
For the race, the top 7 cashes of each competitor will be considered, which means that out of the 31 chances in August, one needs to bring his best only 7 times. From the UK Social League, the top 40 players will qualify for the £2.5k Social League Final. From the other league, only 10 players will advance into the finals.
Those who make it will battle it out in the final for a top prize of £1k, which comes with two BetFred Poker Social Champion T-shirts, a Pint Glass and a mug and an interview which is going to be featured at the website. Of course, those not looking to make a name for themselves, can opt out of the interview.
