CDPoker will be sending players to one of the more popular European events, the Irish Winter Festival; and you can be a part of it through CDPoker satellites.
The Irish Winter Festival first hit the European poker circuit in 2001 and has had a grand history so far; starting as an independent festival, and then becoming part of the EPT, only to leave that tour again in 2008. It has seen some of the biggest names in poker play pass through it, and in 2008 it took place at the City West Hotel, Dublin where the Irish Masters main event was won by amateur Fiachra Meere. The 2009 event will be taking place between October 23rd and 26th in the same location as last year, also retaining the same buy-in of €1,500 + €150.
CDPoker is throwing open it's proverbial gates for all to come, and win a seat at the 2009 Irish Masters event with its estimated prize pool of €1 million. The packages being offered value at roughly $4,000 and include the Main Event Buy-in, 4 nights' accommodation at the City West Hotel, more than $1,000 for flights, and €100 for an Irish Winter Party.
Weekly Super satellites are running every Sunday at 21:00 with a $200 + $15 buy-in, and will be running up until October 11th. Satellites for the Super Satellite run daily at various times with stage 2 satellites starting from just $3, and stage 1 satellites starting from $21.5.
