CDPoker is set to be the new home for all Omaha lovers as the online poker site announces special leaderboards and tournaments for Omaha Hi-Lo and Omaha Pot Limit.
Monday Nights are soon to become Omaha Nights at CDPoker from September 21st and onwards. Every Monday night at 20:00 GMT you'll find specially structured Omaha tournaments with 5,000 starting chips and 15 minute blind level changes. Each of the weekly tournaments is speculated to have $8,000 guaranteed in prize pools and a direct buy-in of $100 + $9.
In addition to the Monday Night Omaha tournaments there is also starting in September Omaholics, which is just what it sounds like. A $130,000 cash table giveaway is sure to make those Omaholics amongst you smile. Omaha Hi-Lo and Omaha Pot Limit players can earn points from raked hands which will enable them to rise through the leaderboards in the following periods:
September 7th – 13thSeptember 14th – 20thSeptember 21st – 27thSeptember 28th - 4thOctober 5th – 11thOctober 12th – 18th
In so doing players will be eligible for cash and prize wins depending on their performance. Winners of the leaderboards will receive entry to the Monday Night Omaha freeroll qualifiers which will be taking place on the Sunday prior to each Monday tournament. Meanwhile the players that finish at the top of their particular leader boards will be receiving prizes into their poker accounts ranging form $1,500 to $75 each week.
