Chris Ferguson Shows Up at 2016 WSOP

Howard Lederer's attempts at clearing his name to pave his way back into this year's WSOP got everyone talking a few days ago and there was indeed a lot of speculation about whether we would get to see him or Chris Ferguson back at the tables. Most figured Lederer would be back, but few wagered on Ferguson showing up, which is exactly what happened in the $10k Seven-Card Stud Championship event. Ferguson bought in and he actually played, and although they were indeed surprised to see him in their midst, those he came into direct contact with, didn't really have much to say about it all...there was little to no heat and no one brought the Full Tilt deal up at the tables in any shape or form.
Full Tilt Poker was shut down on April 15, 2011 by the US DoJ, together with a number of other offshore online poker operators.
Head on to Full Tilt Poker and make use of their beginner-friendly promotions and tournaments to get that bankroll going!

One of the directors of the company, Chris Ferguson was accused of having run what essentially amounted to a Ponzi-scheme, through which he essentially embezzled some $444 million, paying it out to himself and to other company officials. Full Tilt Poker was later purchased and essentially bailed out by former rival PokerStars, to whose outfit it currently belongs, in a reformed and completely altered shape.
When asked about whether he had anything to say about the Full Tilt fiasco, Feguson only said that he was there to play poker. According to Layne Flack, who has 6 WSOP bracelets on his record, Ferguson has just as much right to play in the WSOP as anyone else. Ferguson himself has won the 2000 Main Event of the WSOP.
