Earn double points for the Sprints Leaderboard, whilst winning a pkg for the $500,000 GTD prize pool LSOP Peru in satellites this weekend at Americas Cardroom.
For many on line poker players playing in a live event in an exotic location such as Peru is nothing but a pipe dream, but players at Americas Cardroom could make that dream a reality and this weekend the on line poker site is doing its best to get its players one step closer to the dream. This weekend Americas Cardroom is offering double points in their LSOP satellites which will both award seats to the live poker event, but will also help players climb the $40,000 Sprints Leaderboard.
This weekend there will be three LSOP Lima Main Event Satellites, each awarding a $3,5k package to play holdem in the Latin Series of Poker leg in Peru; the satellites will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 7:30 pm EST. However, in addition to guaranteeing a package to the LSOP Lima, this weekend those tournaments will also award double points. The Friday Satellite has a buy-in of $50 +$5 and has 400 points up for grabs, whereas the Saturday and Sunday satellites have buy-ins of $125 + $12 and each has 1,000 points to be won.
The points are for the $40,000 Sprints Leaderboard. Each weekend Americas Cardroom is running a $10k on line poker points race for the duration of February; each real money table you play at will earn you points and the more points you earn the higher you’ll get on the leaderboard. The leaderboard runs each weekend from Friday to Sunday.
The Latin Series of Poker Lima is a Texas Holdem event to be held from June 6th to 10th and will be hosted by the Atlantic City Casino in Lima. Winners of an LSOP pkg through the Americas Cardroom satellites will receive a tournament seat worth $1,500 + $150, $800 towards air faire, and 5 nights’ accommodation. The guaranteed prize pool for the event is $500,000! If you would like to play holdem in this event but would like to avoid the satellite buy-in you can qualify though qualifiers being run by Americas Cardroom throughout the weekend for as little as $7 + $0.7.
