The first day of the
EPT’s Season 10 San Remo Main Event is in the books, as Day 1B, the second official Day 1 flight, wrapped up the other day, having seen 381 players belly up to the tables. Day 1A had 175 players of its own, which means the total for Day 1 was 381. This number is far from final though: with registration open till the beginning of the second day, many more players are expected to cough up the buy-in.
A total of 8 levels of action went into Day 1B, at the end of which David Yan emerged with the largest stack. Yan had some 179.1k chips bagged, clinching the overall chip lead of the
poker tournament.
Other players who did well were Andrey Lobzhanidze, who had 172.8k chips bagged and Pierluigi Giglio, whose 163.8k chips were enough for 3rd place.

Max Pescatori, Marc-Andre Ladouceur and Govert Metaal were also eliminated as the action progressed.
PokerStars’ Johnny Lodden on the other hand made it through the day, on a decent stack of 122.8k chips no less.
