EPT Season 11 Provisional Schedule Announced

With the Sanremo stop of the
European Poker Tour’s 10th season in the books, and with the Monte Carlo Grand Final just over the horizon, the EPT is already looking ahead and cooking up plans for its upcoming season. As a first step, they’ve already released a provisional schedule (subject to changes of course), covering the main stops of the upcoming EPT run.
The first stop will be the Barcelona one, which will turn into a genuinely massive poker festival next season. Kicking off on August 16 and wrapping up on August 27, the Barcelona stop will see the EPT join hands with the Estrellas Poker Tour yet again. This current season, the Barcelona stop saw 9k+ players belly up to the tables. The goal for the Season 11 stop is obviously nothing less than setting new attendance and prize-pool records, a goal which may indeed be accomplished given that the Barcelona stop will be a special anniversary one for the EPT, marking the 100th EPT stop.

Most of the important EPT stops have already been etched into stone by the new schedule: London will be back, and it will be the second Season 11 stop to take place in 2014. Kicking off on October 12, it will wrap up on the 18th of the same month.
The Prague stop will be the last one of the year. In its usual slot, the Prague stop runs from December 11 to December 17.
For 2015, two stops have been confirmed thus far: the Deauville one, which starts on February 1 and wraps up on February 7 and the EPT Grand Final, which is yet again scheduled for the May 2-5 time-frame.
All women’s events will see buy-ins reduced from €300 to €200, and most of the stops will feature a seniors’ event, with a €200 buy-in.
