FTOPS XXV around the Corner

Well, given that the 25th edition of Full Tilt Poker’s Full Tilt Online Poker Series kicks off on March 30, we can’t really say it is around the corner, but for the savvy online player who likes to save money through satellites, it is indeed quite near. Indeed, those into satellites know too well that it’s never too early to begin qualifying and this time around – for the first time in the history of the FTOPS – online qualifiers will have additional benefits to look forward to. Players who make their way into one of the FTOPS XXV events through an online satellite and then go on to finish in the money in that event, will win bonus tournament dollars and MiniFTOPS XXV tickets. The name of the promotion is FTOPS Satellite Hero and it does indeed add an entirely new dimension to the already attractive online qualification system.
Volume-wise, the FTOPS XXV will not disappoint either. The Series is set to run for 15 days at
Full Tilt Poker and the guarantees will amount to a total of $6 million. Obviously, due to the popularity of the Series, the guarantees will mostly be left in the dust, so the actual total on the prize-pools will be much more than that.
In addition to all the regular events, players will get the chance to add an event of their own choice. The MyFTOPS allows players to vote for various events, and the one that racks up the most votes will be added to the FTOPS XXV schedule. On top of all this, there will be 3 mystery events on the schedule as well.
The FTOPS Leader board will be back too, offering players the chance to win a 4-month long Black Card sponsorship, in addition to securing a Black Card Pro avatar.
