Full Tilt Poker Add More Pros for ANZPT

Full Tilt Poker had been getting along on a handful of in-house pros for quite a few months after they returned to the online poker world last year. During the last few weeks however, they’ve added a promising number of red pros, with the aim of having their brand represented at specific events.
The latest batch of pros, Jonathan Karamalikis, Tom Grigg and Liam O’Rourke, were added to represent the brand at the ANZPT and the announcement regarding their joining of the
Full Tilt Poker family was made at the first Day 1 flight of the ANZPT’s Queenstown Snowfest Main Event.
Like the UKIPT ambassadors who were added about a week ago, the ANZPT representatives will be tasked with playing in every ANZPT event through the year in Full Tilt’s colors. They will also play online at the site as red pros. Of course, as the hired hands of the company, they will also be involved in a variety of promotions and other activities meant to rouse player interest at the site.
According to Dustin Ianotti, Full Tilt Poker’s Manager of Pro, Celebrity and VIP Marketing, the three players aren’t just talented professionals, they also possess a passion for drawing others onto the green felt.
Karamalikis is the most accomplished of the three, boasting $6 million in career profits. His biggest single win came at the 2012 Asia Championship of Poker High Rollers in Taipei, when he won, taking down a $480k prize.
O’Rourke on the other hand is more of an online type of player. Despite having attained most of his success online, he has a couple of live poker accomplishments in his resume too: at the 2012 ANZPT Sydney Main Event for instance, he finished second for $152.4k.
Grigg has had a few impressive live poker cashes too, like a 3rd place finish at the 2012 ANZPT Melbourne Main Event.
