It’s now official: at noon GMT, Full Tilt Poker has re-opened its real money tables, giving players access to $184 million in funds and allowing them – for the first time since the Black Friday shutdown – to play at the real money tables. Players have already flocked to the
online poker room, and real money action is indeed in full swing already. Besides the regular cash games and tournaments, Full Tilt’s players will also benefit from a bunch of new promotions, amongst which the FTOPS (the Full Tilt Online Poker Series) stands out by a head and a shoulder. In a FTOPS-related push, the newly re-opened site will give away $300k in FTOPS tickets. Players will also be able to play for their share of $250k offered via various freerolls. The Happy Hour promotion – aimed at those looking to accumulate as many Full Tilt points as possible – is also back.
According to Shane Lightman, Full Tilt Poker’s head of marketing, the operation is back and it’s better than ever. The site will bring back everything players loved about Full Tilt Poker and more: for starters, players are invited to celebrate through the “Deal Me In” promotions.
One of the biggest novelties at the new Full Tilt is the fact that it is now PokerStars’ sister-operation and as such, players are allowed to transfer funds between the two sites. This feature opens up a world of new possibilities for beginners, regular grinders and high stakes pros alike: they can now take full advantage of the best cash games at Full Tilt, while playing in the biggest and richest
online poker tournaments at PokerStars.
Full Tilt players around the world can now engage in real money action, with the exception of the US, France, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, Estonia and Italy.
